Desktop and Web stay separate
Buying Desktop does not create, include, or synchronize a Web workspace. Web is a separate live browser edition with its own subscription and workspace. Portable backups support deliberate manual transfer. Import replaces the destination after confirmation and never merges data changed in both places.
Updates for dual owners
The permanent Desktop licence remains valid after Web ends. An active paid Web subscription can provide update eligibility for a securely linked Desktop owner. Existing separate Desktop-maintenance subscriptions are never cancelled automatically.
