Do Desktop and Web synchronize?
No. Each has a separate dataset. Portable backups support deliberate manual transfer, but restore replaces the destination after validation and confirmation. It never merges independently edited workspaces.
Does buying Desktop include Web?
No. Desktop is a permanent one-time licence. Web is a separate active subscription. Buying one does not cancel the other.
What does Web cost?
$15 monthly or $150 annually. Public prices are USD and tax-inclusive. There is no setup fee, free tier, or launch discount below those prices.
What does Desktop cost?
The standard Desktop price is $129 one time. Its current early-adopter offer remains independently governed, and checkout uses the lower eligible non-stacking price.
Is Web a team product?
No. Web v1 is single-user. It has no organizations, invitations, teams, roles, sharing, or concurrent collaboration.
Can I use Web on my phone?
The account, subscription, backup, and deletion shell is usable on mobile. The full time, burn, and invoice workflow requires a current desktop browser.
What happens after a Web trial or paid term ends?
There are 14 days of read-only grace, followed by 30 days when the workspace is inaccessible but restorable by subscribing. Active workspace and authentication data are deleted on day 75 from trial start, or after the corresponding paid-through sequence.
Can I export during grace?
Yes. Viewing, invoice export, portable backup export, and subscribing remain available during read-only grace. Other workspace mutations are blocked by the server.
Does Web include Desktop updates?
An active paid Web subscription can provide Desktop maintenance/update eligibility for a securely linked Desktop owner. Trial, grace, and retention states do not. Ending Web never revokes the permanent Desktop licence.
What if I already pay for Desktop maintenance?
After a verified Web link supplies the same eligibility, RetainerMeter shows the separate maintenance subscription and an option to cancel it. RetainerMeter never cancels that renewal automatically.
Is Web end-to-end encrypted?
No such claim is made. Web content is stored in the cloud with provider-managed security and encryption. Consultant-entered content is excluded from product analytics and operational logs.
Who keeps statutory business records?
The customer remains responsible for checking invoices and exporting records they need to retain. Account deletion and lifecycle purge are not a substitute for the customer's own record-keeping process.
